This beautiful park located within the City of St. Paul is situated beneath bluffs along the Mississippi River. Formerly the site of a farm, this area was never developed, leaving prime recreation land after being purchased by the government. The sandy banks of the Mississippi are nice place to relax or to fish.
Most of the trails in the park are paved multi-use trails popular with cyclists. The Wetlands Trail offers some of the most beautiful natural scenery found within the Twin Cities and is a designated accessible trail. The trails also connect to trails in Hidden Falls Regional Park to the west and to a multi-use path connecting to downtown to the east.
