Lester Park is a medium sized-park in the northwest part of Duluth. There are many recreational activities available here, including mountain biking, cross country skiing, fishing, and swimming, and amenities featuring a picnic area and playground. The park has a decent system of trails, and the highlight is the trail to the falls. Note that many of the trails are groomed for skiing in the winter and thus off limits to hikers.
