Rating: ★★★★☆(4/5) - Worth a Trip
The highest point in the state of Michigan, Mount Arvon is located in a peaceful Upper Peninsula forest. While the land is owned by a paper company, they have graciously permitted travelers to access the summit via a dirt road or by a short, 3 mile trail through scenic wilderness. Along the trail, you can enjoy a waterfall, unique plants, and quiet seclusion unlike most natural destinations in the Midwest.
